How to scan a product?

By scanning a product, you are able to look for a product in the database, or to add a new product. Go to “Home screen” (Click on the website name) and select “Scan Product”. A scanner window will open up, using your camera. Place the barcode of the product in front of the scanner, and the barcode will automatically be scanned. If detected, a barcode will be shown below the camera “window”.

Check if the detected barcode matches the one on the product. If it did not work, try again or look for a product using the search bar on the home screen. In case you would like to give us feedback, use the feedback option in the menu.

How does the search button work?

With the “Search Database” button, you will be able to view the products within the VMDb database. Click the “green” part of the button to see the full, unfiltered database. If you already have a specific search term in mind, type in any type of product detail, like category, brand or shop. If you like, use the dropdown to search for any specific kind of product detail.
